H202 or Hydrogen Peroxide, is one of the cheapest and most common household products.  But did you know that there are other uses for hydrogen peroxide besides cleaning wounds?

We have provided 10 different ways to use hydrogen peroxide for all Long Beach Compounding Pharmacy patients.

1.  Heal Acne

Use a cotton bud or ball and blot over blemishes with some hydrogen peroxide to rid of any infection and promote healing quicker.

2.  Curb Bad Breath

A potent anti-septic, hydrogen peroxide is extremely effective at curbing bad breath by killing any odor-causing bacteria in your mouth.  Banish bad breath by swishing hydrogen peroxide for 30 seconds every morning.

3.  Lighten Hair

You can lighten hair without opting for harsh bleaches.  Hydrogen peroxide is perfect for subtle highlights in your locks.

4.  Clean Glass

Hydrogen peroxide is great for cleaning mirrors and glass.  Spray some on your glass surface and wipe off for a streak free shine.

5.  Whiten Clothes

Simply lighten clothes by adding a cup of hydrogen peroxide in your load of laundry.  This will also keep your clothes from becoming worn because hydrogen peroxide is gentler than bleach.

6.  Keep Salads Fresh

Mix a half cup of water and a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide and spray your salad to make it last fresh longer.

7.  Clean the Air

Mix one pint of three percent hydrogen peroxide and a gallon of water in a steamer or humidifier to clean the air.

9.  Freshen Fabrics

Get rid of unwanted odors by soaking musty fabrics in a mixture of vinegar and hydrogen peroxide.

10. Sprout Seeds

Promote seeds to sprout overnight by soaking them in a mixture of a pint of water and an ounce of three percent hydrogen peroxide.
